Take in the awe-inspiring beauty of your surroundings as you glide across the tranquil waters of the River Brue, encountering an array of wildlife along the way.  The historic River Brue has been used for over a thousand years with strong connections to the Romans and Anglo-Saxons, featuring ports at Langport, Glastonbury, and Highbridge. As you paddle upstream, you'll also see pillboxes, evidence of the home guards' presence during WWII, part of a last-ditch defensive line. And the best part? You have the freedom to set your own pace and decide when you're ready to return to base. When you've had enough, simply turn your board around and head back.
